Privacy Policy

Cyber-Spore Studio ("the Service") is a desktop tool used by the Cyber-Spore team to upload our own gameplay videos to our own social media accounts. This policy explains what data the Service handles.
1. Data we access from TikTok
- Basic account information (user.info.basic): the connected account's display name and username, used only to show which account is connected and to build links to published videos.
- Posting permissions (video.upload, video.publish): used only to upload videos that we have reviewed and approved.
- Access tokens issued by TikTok after authorization.
The Service does not access followers, messages, other users' content or any analytics.
2. How data is stored
Access tokens and the upload queue are stored only on the computer that runs the Service. They are not sent to any server operated by us and are not shared with third parties.
3. Other services the Service uses
To suggest titles, still frames from our own gameplay videos and our notes are sent to an AI text service (such as Anthropic Claude or Google Gemini). No TikTok account data is sent to these services. Approved videos are uploaded directly to the platforms we choose (TikTok, YouTube, X), and a notification is posted to our own Discord server.
4. No sale or advertising use
We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.
5. Children
The Service is operated by the Cyber-Spore team only and is not directed at or used by children.
6. Retention and deletion
Tokens are kept until the account is disconnected. Video files are deleted from the computer after a configurable period (14 days by default). You can revoke access at any time in TikTok (Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services); the locally stored tokens then stop working and can be deleted.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
